ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our progressive model of mental healthcare, backed by science and experts in psychiatry and behavioral health, is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (“LCSW”) to join our team who is compassionate and dynamic and believes in the fundamental value of our integrated care model. Being Health is seeking to hire a per diem LCSW psychotherapist, 4-8 hours per week, to provide psychotherapy. Days worked will be mutually agreed upon in collaboration with the Medical Director.
As a Psychotherapist, you will:
- Provide compassionate direct patient care virtually and/or in person with an emphasis on comprehensive evaluations and assessment, creating personalized care plans, providing high-quality psychotherapy, and following up on care as needed.
- Work within an integrated, multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychotherapists, nurse practitioners, wellness practitioners, and other clinicians to collaborate on providing a comprehensive suite of services to our patients.
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions to individuals and with leadership and if agreed upon, create and deliver group psychotherapy.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure the best outcomes possible and to coordinate integrated care and personalized care plans.
- Consistently monitor and follow up with patients to evaluate patient outcomes and help patients reach their overall goals.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and supervision where deemed necessary and maintain patient records in a professional, timely, and compliant manner.
- Foster a culture of compassion, respect, and sincerity in care delivery and practice with a high degree of integrity.
- Participate in special projects as needed in collaboration with the clinical team and the Medical Director until patient panels are at higher fill rates.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:
- You should hold an LCSW that is active and unrestricted in the State of New York.
- 5+ years of psychotherapy experience in an outpatient setting or private practice.
- A strong belief and enthusiasm to work within clinical infrastructure and to provide direct care.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to compassionate patient service.
- Proficiency in handling confidential patient information and associated regulations.
- A keen sense of personal accountability, attention to detail, and integrity.
- Agility in mastering digital tools including, but not limited to, EHR, telehealth, and patient-facing applications as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software.
- Expertise in EMDR, CBT, DBT, IFS, and/or somatic experiencing therapy preferred.
- Bilingual with fluency in Spanish preferred.
- Experience working with diverse populations preferred.

We consider an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final compensation. The hourly compensation for this position ranges from $75-$110 per hour, and the exact offer will be commensurate with qualifications and years of experience.
