Wellness Tree Counseling LCSW PLLC is a hybrid (virtual & in-person) Private Practice located in the Rego Park neighborhood in Queens, N.Y.

The mission of Wellness Tree Counseling is to promote wellness through a culturally sensitive lens so that individuals, families and communities are encouraged to rise to their full potential and engage life in meaningful ways.

Currently seeking a motivated, talented and responsible LMSW or LCSW to work on a fee for service basis. Wellness Tree Counseling offers many benefits and unique Private Practice experience.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Provide individual psychotherapy to assigned cases comprised of adults
• Complete screening and intake assessments including psychosocial, risk assessment, substance abuse and trauma screening
• Timely recording of all necessary clinical documentation
• Develop person-centered treatment plans and monitor for progress
• Formulate discharge plans and referrals to community resources
• Crisis intervention as needed

Qualification:

• Active New York State license: LMSW, LCSW, MSW with limited permit
• 1-2 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy
• Knowledge of DSM-V, CBT, DBT, ACT, or other clinical modalities
• Ability to commit 10-15 client contact hours per week (45-50 mins. session)
• Ability to work independently and/or use clinical judgment when needed.
• Knowledge of clinical documentation including treatment plan, progress note, bio-psychosocial assessment etc.
• Experience working with clients who identify as Black or Person of Color
• BIPOC Therapist encouraged to apply
• Professional liability insurance required upon hire
• Must be New York State residency
