SalarySeeking part-time psychodynamic therapist (Social Workers, Psychologists) to join our thriving practice in mid-town Manhattan. We are a specialized practice focusing on complex trauma, which includes issues with dissociation, suicidality, anger-management, and difficulties in daily living. Must be available for some evening and in-person hours. Willingness to work weekends a plus! The ideal candidate will have training and experience in psychodynamic theory and trauma-informed care, and a passion for working with a more challenging population. Post-doctoral candidates and experienced LMSWs will be considered. Must be detail oriented, organized, open to continued growth and learning, and inclined towards a non-pathologizing lens. Responsibilities:
- Maintain a minimum caseload of 12 clients
- Complete notes and treatment plans within a timely manner
- Provide crisis management services for your clients in acute distress
- Attend weekly didactics and group supervision (paid)
- Be a self-starter, self-reflective, curious, & passionate about what you do
