Metro Psychotherapy & Counseling is an insurance-based private practice that provides psychotherapy to young adults, adults, and couples. We work with many communities, groups and populations. We are currently seeking a psychotherapist with a proven track record of expertise in working with diverse populations. The ideal candidate will possess cultural competence, sensitivity, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and strengths within diverse communities. This opportunity starts off fee-for-service with the opportunity to move full-time. We pride ourselves in not just on a creating safe and prosperous space for our clients, but for our staff as well. The position is remote, with the option of providing therapy in person at our Bethpage location if desired. You choose what days and what time you work!

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide intake assessments and administer psychotherapy to individuals and couples(if desired).
- Maintain detailed clinical documentation in accordance with insurance and practice expectations.
- Schedule appointments with patients.
- Participate in weekly team meetings.
- Perform a variety of other job-related responsibilities as requested.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Active NYS LCSW/LMSW license.
- Familiarity with various theoretical approaches, such as ACT and CBT.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience in psychiatric assessment and diagnosis.
- Ability to maintain clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Experience working with electronic medical records.
- Reliable computer and internet service and appropriate remote work environment to ensure privacy and confidentiality.

Pay: $38.00 - $55.00 per hour
