Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our telemedicine team. As a Telemedicine Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will provide virtual mental health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management to patients in need of psychiatric care. Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations via telemedicine platforms.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and substance use disorders.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other members of the healthcare team.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, as appropriate.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in [PA,MA (will license)}.
• Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) preferred.
• Minimum of [1-2] years of clinical experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Experience providing telemedicine services preferred but not required.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and telemedicine platforms.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Pay: $100.00 - $130.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
