- Bachelors Degree required in Business, Human Resources or related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or COE capacity (or related job function) with progressive responsibility in HR strategy.
We are looking for a Sr. HRBP to work with our Amazon Kids and Devices OS organizations to drive results through organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The Sr. HRBP is a hands on role including improving organizational effectiveness & design, leading change management, providing leadership coaching and driving HR functional excellence. We are seeking an experienced Sr. HRBP who can effectively interact with business leaders at all levels, possesses excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and works effectively across multiple geographies.
Key job responsibilities
- Work with senior management and our COE partner teams to develop and implement talent strategies focused on global expansion.
- Partner with business leaders to drive organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment and development.
- Partner with and guide the HR Partner team, who provides management coaching and support to front-line managers.
- Review and analyze business metrics including data on retention and the employee experience in order to recommend and drive systemic improvements.
- Lead both the annual and mid-year review processes within respective leadership teams to ensure rigorous performance management and talent development.
- Provide compensation consultation including salary and equity planning, promotions and job re-leveling analysis and support.
- Work with business groups to assess, create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives within assigned client groups and in some cases across the broader Devices organization.
- Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results.
- Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and analysis.
- Experience working in a high-tech, entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $193,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
