As a Property Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the property management team and ensuring the smooth operation of our properties. As a Property Manager Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Property Manager in various aspects of property management, including conducting showings, listing properties, and managing financial transactions. Duties:
- Assist with property management tasks such as lease administration, rent collection, and maintenance coordination
- Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and laws
- Handle incoming phone calls and inquiries from tenants, providing excellent customer service
-Schedule and conduct property showings for prospective tenants, presenting available units and highlighting key features and amenities. Provide detailed information about rental terms, lease agreements, and community amenities to potential renters.
- Manage contracts and vendor relationships, ensuring timely payment and quality service delivery
- Maintain accurate and organized files, including lease agreements, tenant correspondence, and property documentation
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices
- Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and laws
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer relationship management skills
- Proficiency in using Appfolio software for work order management
- Ability to manage contracts and vendor relationships effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate files
