We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager. In this role, you will work closely with the Property Manager to ensure the efficient operation of our properties. Duties:
- Assist the Property Manager in overseeing all aspects of property management, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date property files and records
- Prepare lease agreements and other necessary documents
- Conduct property tours for potential tenants
- Negotiate lease terms and rental rates with prospective tenants
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Assist with rent collection and ensure all payments are properly recorded
- Coordinate maintenance requests and work orders with the maintenance team
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing calendars
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in file management and record keeping
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of lease agreements and contract management
- Familiarity with property management software such as OneSite or similar platforms
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of facilities management practices is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
