Position Overview: As a Property Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance of customer properties. Properties include commercial, HOAs, and residential accounts. Summer services include, but are not limited to, lawn mowing, edging, weed whipping, weeding, and clean-ups. Winter services include snow removal and salt/de-icing application.
Responsibilities:
- Winter
- Snow removal using shovels and machinery
- Salt/de-icing application
- Summer
- Maintain lawn to customer's specification (mowing, trimming, edging)
- Weed removal, mulching, pruning, leaf removal
- Perform maintenance such as changing mower blades and re-stringing whips
- Other duties as assigned/necessary
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation to/from work
- Must be legally able to work in Michigan
- Valid driver's license
- Keep work vehicles and equipment clean and organized
- Produce quality work in a timely manner
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
- Ability to operate basic hand tools
- Ability to operate basic equipment (weed whacker, leaf blower, hedge trimmer, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
- General mechanical/equipment maintenance knowledge preferred, but not required
Pay is hourly and based on experience. After 1 year, salary is negotiable. No resume required to apply!
