You'll be responsible for overseeing an existing portfolio of clients and working to prospect and secure new ones. Responsibilities

• Commit to a continued education in Property and Casualty Insurance protocols and coverage requirements to ensure the ideal types of insurance policies are offered to existing clients, potential clients, and new customers
• Keep bookkeeping logs, Insurance Sales records, and customer databases up to date to assess progress toward monthly goals
• Employ successful sales-based marketing strategies such as prospecting, cold calling, networking, and more to identify and secure potential clients
• Assist existing, new, and prospective policyholders in completing the necessary insurance forms and documents to ensure all policy requirements are met and facilitate various aspects of the insurance claims process, including the examination of physical properties
• Meet with new, existing, and prospective policyholders and actively listen to their needs to properly assess their circumstances and financial statuses before proposing ideal plan options

Qualifications

• Proficiency using sales and accounting software is beneficial
• Candidates must have core computer skills and a demonstrated capability using Microsoft Office programs
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma/GED or equivalent required
• Candidates must have and maintain a relevant P&C insurance license - or must be willing to get licensed
• Stellar interpersonal communication skills, analytical skills, and customer service skills are needed

• A Property & Casualty license is preferred (Willingness to obtain a license is required, we will help you with this!)
• A life Insurance License is preferred
• 1-3 years of sales experience

Compensation
$30,000 - $40,000 per year
