Compensation:$30,000 - $40,000 per year
Responsibilities:- Remain educated on property and Casualty Insurance policies, insurance agent regulations, insurance claims, and other industry rules to successfully match prospective, existing, and new clients with the best insurance plans
- Meet with new, existing, and prospective policyholders and actively listen to their needs to properly assess their circumstances and financial statuses before proposing ideal plan options
- Keep bookkeeping logs, Insurance Sales records, and customer databases up to date to assess progress toward monthly goals
- Bring in new clients by effectively executing sales-based marketing strategies like prospecting, cold calling, and networking
- Ensure that existing, new, and prospective clients complete all appropriate forms and meet insurance policy requirements, and facilitate the insurance claims process, which may include examining the condition of physical properties to assess risks
- Fundamental computer and Microsoft Office program skills are essential
- Excellent analytical, customer service, and communication skills are required
- An accredited P&C insurance license is necessary for this position
- Four-year undergraduate degree preferred; high school diploma/GED or equivalent necessary
- Experience with accounting and sales lead generation platforms is helpful
- A Property & Casualty license is preferred (Willingness to obtain a license is required, we will help you with this!)
- A life Insurance License is preferred
- 1-3 years of sales experience
