Job Description
$30,000 - $40,000 per year
Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate customer records, bookkeeping logs, and Insurance Sales databases to report progress toward monthly goals
- Meet with new, existing, and prospective policyholders and actively listen to their needs to properly assess their circumstances and financial statuses before proposing ideal plan options
- Assist existing, new, and prospective policyholders in completing the necessary insurance forms and documents to ensure all policy requirements are met and facilitate various aspects of the insurance claims process, including the examination of physical properties
- Bring in new clients by effectively executing sales-based marketing strategies like prospecting, cold calling, and networking
- Commit to a continued education in Property And Casualty Insurance protocols and coverage requirements to ensure the ideal types of insurance policies are offered to existing clients, potential clients, and new customers
- An accredited P&C insurance license is necessary for this position
- Four-year undergraduate degree preferred; high school diploma/GED or equivalent necessary
- Familiarity with accounting and sales-related software or programs is a plus
- Fundamental computer and Microsoft Office program skills are essential
- Superior customer service, communication, and analytical skills are necessary
- A Property & Casualty license is preferred (Willingness to obtain a license is required, we will help you with this!)
- A life Insurance License is preferred
- 1-3 years of sales experience
