Promotions & Social Media Assistant

• Work with the marketing team to plan and execute a Social Media strategy and create unique content across all Social Media platforms
• Use Social Media marketing tools to enhance the BlueClaws overall brand and digital presence
• Researching Social Media trends and applying those trends to benefit the BlueClaws
• Work with sponsorship department to execute sponsored-posts and actions as needed
• Collaborate with the videographer to co-produce content that will be used across Social Media channels
• Help prepare for, schedule, and activate BlueClaws Media Day to best generate the necessary content to be used across the season
• Work games in conjunction with gameday photographers and Social Media team to gather and post content across multiple platforms
• Gather player content, and get the team involved in our Social Media

• Virtual National Anthem Try-Outs
  • Follow up after the online event and schedule singers in season
  • Coordinate, schedule, and maintain inventory of all past and present National Anthem singers
• Gameday set up around the ballpark including: leading pre-game staff meetings with Claws Crew, maintaining gameday equipment for promotions, making sure all manual TVs are set up for each game, ensuring all on-field waivers are properly cataloged, and setting up gate giveaways for scheduled items.
• Day-of coordination with outside vendors for various events, including Education Day, Buster's Birthday, First Responders Night, Military Night, Star Wars and other themed events to maintain positive relationships to ensure seamless event execution
• Hire, train, manage, and schedule the promotions team made of 30 staff members for all pre-game ceremonies, in-game sponsor activations and post game experiences, including daily staffing assignments
• Oversee the various pre-game, in between inning, and postgame activities that include: Ceremonial first pitches, finding contestants for in-game activities, t-shirt launches, mascot skits and races, etc. This includes both game day preparation and brainstorming of new skits and promotions.
• Assist with ballpark music and ambiance to reflect the theme of the night and tie in with creative promotions
• Actively hire, train, and oversee the promotions team including Mobile 50/50, Information Booth, Check-In Kiosk, Promo Zone, Claws Crew, Mascots, and On-Field Emcee
• Assist in PA read creation and learn script software
