Project Supervisor - Mobile Grounds Crew

We are actively seeking a Grounds Maintenance Project Supervisor. In this role you will lead a team who completes landscape and grounds maintenance for different sites around San Diego. As a Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing, supervising, and managing all activities necessary to fulfill contract requirements on the assigned properties.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $26.00 to $26.00

Status: Hourly

Schedule: Mon- Fri 7a-3p

WHO YOU ARE:

• Strong communicator who maintains a positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and employees.
• Skilled in hand and machine maintenance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Supervise employees, handling various aspects such as hiring, training, scheduling, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Provide culturally appropriate job coaching, using person-centered and standard training techniques to support employees in completing tasks according to guidelines and contract requirements.
• Safely operate various hand and power tools and equipment, including tractors, riding mowers, power edgers, blowers, chain saws, and trimmers.
• Manage inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies, ensuring availability and good working order.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR SUCCESS:

• Ability to provide culturally appropriate job coaching, using person-centered and standard training techniques to support employees in completing tasks according to guidelines and contract requirements.
• Safely operate various hand and power tools and equipment, including tractors, riding mowers, power edgers, blowers, chain saws, and trimmers.
• Experience managing inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies.
