Maintenance Team lead will be an essential driver of a predictive and proactive maintenance culture. Team lead will mentor Maintenance Supervisors and maintenance techs to insure their ultimate success and the department’s success.
Improve overall production reliability through leadership and mentoring of shift Maintenance Supervisor teams. Successful supervisor will inspire cost mindful culture that balances the challenges of reducing manufacturing costs while controlling maintenance costs. Supervisor will have thorough oversight for all technical aspects of the manufacturing enterprise, supervisory responsibility of existing technical staff. Will participate in the development and attainment of maintenance metrics that support production goals. Will coordinate with production scheduling to develop proactive and predictive maintenance schedules that minimize line downtime. Will assist Maintenance manager in developing and managing annual budget for the Maintenance Department.
Plans, organizes and directs packaging and process improvement maintenance projects along with providing technical assistance to the maintenance and production departments.
Oversees key large scale maintenance projects, processes and performance reports. Provides direction on design and development activities to improve, modify or design new equipment, processes and capabilities. Leader in all continual improvement projects.
Coordinates the creation, development, design, and improvement of the organization’s products and processes in conformance with established business strategies. Selects correct design concepts and fundamental technology used for new product or improvements of existing ones.
Will lead in any new package design project to insure successful rollout onto production line with minimal efficiencies losses to production lines
Responsible for the documentation of the capital projects for the operations group within TWG.
Responsible for developing PM documentation such as OMS’s and Work order documentation
Implements TWG vision/strategy, through strong leadership skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- This person will mentor both operating technicians and mechanics toward a proactive, predictive root cause mindset as related to the production environment.

- This person will help refine, implement, and analyze working methodologies in order to improve manufacturing reliability and efficiency, ultimately increasing asset utilization and reducing costs.
- Maintain staff accountability and performance.
- Involved in site CMMS (MP2) and JD Edwards for both work order management and procurement of maintenance parts.
- Have strong knowledge of root cause analyzing will be tasked in developing a sustainable RCA program to help drive up efficiencies while driving down overall cost to operations.
- Improve employees’ ability to identify root causes and solve problems thus reducing losses.
- Implement plant Proactive and predictive maintenance systems, inspection routines, and spare parts inventory control
- Close interaction with all plant teams such as Production, Quality, and Planning.
- Capable of organizing and implementing training seminars.
- Assure continuous plant operations and support to maintain plant efficiency improvement.
- Help refine KPI goals that support business strategy.
- Achieve assigned KPI’s. (Key Performance Indicators)
- Ensures GMP, safety and quality of projects
- Prepares capital engineering plans for operations as directed
- Prepares, maintains and assures adherence to budgets and schedules for all maintenance and capital projects
- Develops, coaches and mentors subordinate staff to improve and drive higher skill level

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- 3+ years related experience.
- BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- It is imperative that the incumbent have strong leadership skills. Strong communication (verbal/written), problem solving, decision-making, coaching, mentoring and training, etc.
- Knowledge of OSHA and other FED/State rules and regulations including environmental.
- Must also have the respect of all personnel when it comes to Preventative and Predictive Maintenance Management procedures and have a grasp of costs, vendor choices, planning, scheduling, and reviewing of annual budgets.
- Demonstrate ability to manage subordinates and communicate well with peers.
- Strive for continuous improvements in all areas of responsibility and maintain awareness of current technological advancements.
