This position will be working out of RMA Group, an RMA Company.
RMA Group is seeking a full-time Project/Senior Geologist to join our Rancho Cordova, CA team. At RMA Group, you can look forward to working on a wide variety of interesting projects both in the field and in the office.
As a Project/Senior Geologist at RMA Group, your will support lead geotechnical engineers or geologists to successfully complete geotechnical projects in ways that satisfy clients and minimize risks. The position, salary, and level of responsibilities assigned to the individual will be based on the experience level of the candidate.
· Supervise subsurface investigations.
· Manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
· Develop geohazard recommendations independently.
· Provide recommendations during construction activities.
· Write, sign, and stamp reports, letters, and proposals.
· Oversee and manage staff-level professionals throughout project execution.
· Represent RMA Group at team and client meetings.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
The following minimum requirements apply to this position.
· California Professional Geologist (PG) and Certified Engineering Geologist (CEG) licenses.
· At least 5 years of relevant experience.
· Demonstrated successful project management experience and strong problem-solving skills.
· Excellent writing and communication skills.
· Hold a valid driving license with a good standing driving record.
· The employee occasionally is required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and to walk up to ½ mile daily.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
