Background & Purpose of the Job
Seventh Generation's Project Management Office assists the business with the application of processes, methods, skills, knowledge, and experience to help individuals and teams to achieve their objectives to the best of their ability. This position will provide project management leadership across home care categories. It is a critical liaison between cross-functional teams and the Seventh Generation leadership team. As such, this role requires leadership in and of itself, and the ability to upwardly manage senior level stakeholders. We support business leaders in Innovation & Renovation Project Management, including facilitating stage gate processes, project networks and workflows, and risk management. Additionally, we support the business through leading Portfolio Management, Change Management and SME Training on product development teams. We also support in up-skilling employees in project management and team communication.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $83,200 to $124,700. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.

Who You Are & What You'll Do
- Collaboratively lead the product development process in a dynamic work environment.
- Partner with Project Leads and other cross-functional team members to define project scope, action standards, CapEx requirements, quality plan, supply chain considerations and other applicable criteria.
- Build & manage comprehensive project plans ensuring that work is completed on schedule and within scope.
- Effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
- Plan and facilitate recurring project team meetings and publish relevant information for all active projects.
- Successfully collaborate with partners inside Seventh Generation/Unilever, including leaders from R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance and Quality.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and develop contingency plans.
- Aid Brand Leaders with execution of the Portfolio Development Strategy, inclusive of building our Strategic Product Plan, Innoflex and Gate management
- Provide data analytics on current product portfolio as needed.
- Be an expert in our PM software, WorkFront, and Unilever's Product Development process, Innoflex.
- Work with the Manager, PMO & others to upgrade and implement processes and procedures to support product introductions and transitions.
- Work with individuals to train and coach in effective team communication and project management practices.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and shared appropriately.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- 4+ years of project management experience. Experience in a consumer-packaged goods or international team setting a plus with PMP certification a plus.
- Background in leading complex projects.
- Self-motivated, creative & effective problem solver.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
- Process-oriented, yet flexible and at navigating around the system if necessary.
- Mastery of schedule and timeline management.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum Methodologies.
- Demonstrated success leading and working within cross-functional teams.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a capacity for rapid change.
- Ability to understand and consider financial scenarios (e.g. product P&Ls, ROI analyses, etc).
