Project Manager

Position Overview: FirstClose is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our growing organization. This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing projects across multiple departments and will work directly with various department heads and stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and implementing project management best practices and will be a crucial precursor to the establishment of a Project Management Office (PMO) later in the year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight:
  • Manage and coordinate projects across various departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful and timely completion.
• Communication:
  • Effectively communicate project goals, progress, and challenges to stakeholders and teams.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and provide status updates to leadership.
• Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Inspire and motivate teams to achieve project objectives.
• Adaptability:
  • Adjust project strategies and approaches based on the unique requirements of each department and project.
• Problem-Solving:
  • Proactively identify and address project challenges, working collaboratively to find effective solutions.
• Organizational Skills:
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks and resources efficiently.
• Strategic Thinking:
  • Align projects with the overall strategic goals of the organization.
• Documentation:
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all stakeholders.
• Preparation for PMO:
  • Contribute to the groundwork for the establishment of a Project Management Office coming late 2024 or early 2025.

Project Types

Managing projects across disciplines that include business process improvement, product launch, IT and software development, and marketing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5 – 7 years of proven experience in successfully managing projects in diverse departments.
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in project management in the software industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of staff internally.
• Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Experienced with industry-standard project management methods, tools and technologies.
• Strategic thinking and long-term vision for project management within the organization.

Additional Qualifications

• 3 years experience as a technical Project Manager (TPM) on IT and software development projects.
• PMP Certification

Compensation

• Competitive Base Salary - $90,000 - $110,000 base, depending on experience.
• Annual Company Bonus Based on Performance
