General Responsibilities:
EPG's Salt Lake and Phoenix offices are growing and in need of a mid-level landscape architect/designer to manage and assist with an exciting variety of projects and services. These include resort hospitality, housing and single-family planning, community master planning, high-end residential, downtown economic development and plaza designs, parks, trails and open space, design guidelines and vision plans, and environmental and restoration projects. The role also involves leading and managing all types of development projects. We are looking for someone who communicates well and works independently and in teams.

This position will pay a signing bonus and salary based on the candidate's overall qualifications, skills, and proven resume of work.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Lead safety efforts for the team and ensure the team follows safety rules and guidelines. Be responsible for creating and modeling a safe work environment; demonstrates safety practices.
  • Assist with development and workflow of construction drawings, graphics, and deliverables associated with our design and planning work.
  • Promote continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects. Monitor quality standards and practices with your team.
  • Assist with marketing and business development efforts toward the establishment of a sustainable landscape architecture practice for the firm.
  • Actively engage in the community organizations such as participation on boards and commissions or other professional/community associations.
  • Develop understanding and be aware of project-related risk. Be familiar with what could go wrong on a project and how to protect the Company.
  • Be responsible for conceptualizing the initial design and/or investigative approach for a major phase of a large project or have overall responsibility for the landscape architectural work on a project of moderate scope.
  • Coordinate with clients and local, state, and federal agencies. Maintain project schedules including tasks management. Provide direction and leadership of interdisciplinary resource specialists at EPG and subconsultants, as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Minimum 5-8 years' experience
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history
  • Registered Landscape in Arizona or Utah is a plus but not required
Preferred Software Knowledge:
Must be proficient with the following programs:
  • LandFX
  • AutoCAD
  • Lumion
  • Adobe products
  • Microsoft products
  • Revit knowledge and experience would be a plus

Salary range: $67,000/year-$80,000/year
