Job Description
Skiltrek is seeking a skilled mid to Sr level Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for contributing to the design process from concept to finalization, ensuring accurate stress calculations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and producing detailed reports. The role requires proficiency in using CREO software for design and analysis tasks, as well as the ability to generate inputs for tolerance analysis and stress predictions. Aerospace experience is a plus.

responsibilities:
Job Duties -
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the conceptual phase to contribute to the design process from concept development to final design layout.
- Perform stress calculations and load analysis to ensure designs meet safety and performance requirements.
- Generate inputs for the Mechanical Computer-Aided Design (MCAD) group so they can conduct tolerance analysis and create detailed drawings.
- Utilize output data from Finite Element Method (FEM) models to predict stress outcomes and incorporate them into the design.
- Provide accurate and comprehensive stress and load calculations for various components and systems.
- Prepare detailed reports that document design decisions, calculations, and outcomes for review by stakeholders.
- Ensure designs align with industry standards, company guidelines, and project specifications.
- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, addressing design challenges, and proposing effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in engineering technology, design methodologies, and relevant software tools.
Job Requirements -
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in using CREO.
- Experience with stress calculations and load analysis, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.
- Proven experience in taking a concept through to final design, including design layout and documentation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment, particularly during the conceptual phase.

- Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to proper stress calculations and load analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear and detailed reports.
