Project Coordinators

Sun Solar is seeking energetic and determined Project Coordinator (PC) within the Springfield, MO community. Our PCs work with our customers to take their solar projects to installation.

This is a full-time position earning a starting hourly rate of $18.00/hr. The standard working hours for our PCs are either 7:00am - 4:00pm OR 8:00am - 5pm, Monday-Friday. All interested and potential applications are eligible for health / dental /vision benefits, paid training, 401k (after initial six months, supplemental insurance, short-term/ long-term disability, and paid time off (PTO).

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A PROJECT COORDINATOR

In the project coordinator role, you act as a liaison between the customer and company to ensure effective communication and manage expectations. You are the main point of contact for our customers as you work through the steps to get their solar project to installation. You have an upbeat attitude while providing our clients with a positive experience. You follow even the minute details to ensure that all steps have been completed from design and permitting to install.

PROJECT COORDINATOR QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be a stickler for detail and one who demands organization.
• Highly driven and capable to take initiative.
• This role is customer-facing focused (both in-person/phone) so having enjoyment working with the public is key. Must be willing to take appropriate steps to ensure our customers are well informed, confident and satisfied throughout the process.
• Ideally, individuals having experience/familiarity with project coordination/management, but this is not required. We will train the right person - it's your soft skills we are after!
