Job Description
The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting the project manager to oversee, plan, manage and track the progress of our construction projects by working directly with internal and external customers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assists Project Manager to complete admin tasks as needed
Obtains all necessary regulations and permits.
Manage customer-company relationship through regular communication
Makes sure projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans.
Complete special projects as directed by Project Manager
Work closely with AR Specialists and Finance teams to process l adjustments and corrections to provide the customer with an accurate weekly bill
Interacts with construction manager and coordinates their work with AR Specialist
Communicates with clients and delivers weekly project progress reports both to clients and internal team
Develops and adheres to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan
Collaborates with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists
Writes and submits testing and inspection logs, quality assurance reports, and punch lists to Project Manager
Focus on high level customer service to both internal and external customers
Coordinate client meetings with project manager or billing teams as needed
Uses scheduling software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression.
Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knows how to use popular construction project management software.
Builds strong relationships with clients, contractors, construction workers and internal team
Excels at organization, time-management, problem-solving, and budgeting.
Good organizational skills with the ability to plan, coordinate, and record inventory intake
Strong work ethic, leads by example, and does what it takes to get the job done
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and with various other software programs for data entry
Ability to communicate with clarity at the frequencies required by management and customers
Ability to travel to multiple sites as required
Work independently with minimal supervision
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must be 18 or older
Five years of telecommunication project management experience
Able to work with minimal supervision and complete tasks assigned in a timely manner
Valid drivers license and excellent driving record
Must be able to pass a DOT physical, pre-employment drug test, and background check
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Bi-lingual (Spanish/English)
Bachelors degree in construction science and management, engineering, architecture, business administration, or a related degree
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Outreach Training
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 Annually
