Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project activities from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with project managers and team members.
- Facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting discussions, and following up on action items.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, proactively addressing them to minimize disruptions.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing timely updates and addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in resource allocation and management, including coordinating team assignments and tracking resource utilization.
- Support project documentation and reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness of project records.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing among team members.
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices related to project management methodologies and tools.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and other related documentation as needed.
- Lead Cognitive’s social media marketing to include creating topic ideas, partner with subject matter experts to create the content, and post to our social media sites
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in project coordination or project management roles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management software/tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and MS Office suite.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical solutions.
- Collaborative mindset with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is preferred.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.
