Atlantic Fencing Inc is looking for a self motivated Project Coordinator to work within a team environment coordinating and managing wood, aluminum, vinyl, and chain-link fence installations and shop inventory.
Job Duties:
- Assigns installation and repair work jobs to crews, while updating the production schedule consistently and in a timely manner.
- Order all materials needed for job installation, retail orders, stock etc.
- Responsible to pre-inspect all residential job sites prior to installation for issues/problems.
- Review inventory usage of job installation and overall supply order.
- Ensures company policies and procedures, as well as safety guidelines are followed.
- Tracks hours of installers and moves job progress to completion at a pace to ensure quality, efficiency and profitability.
- Communicates with customer throughout the job to aid in understanding and satisfaction of work.
- Communicates with crews to ensure that customer is aware of any changes to job before making any such change and responsible to keep the customer routinely updated on progress and timeline to finish the project.
- Will be responsible to make sure crew personnel are taking pictures at job sites and posting in crew along with daily updates per procedure.
- Review inventory sheets to ensure accuracy for complete for payroll submission.
- Ultimately responsible to ensure customer satisfaction with job completion.
- Review job specifications with Foreman to determine materials, tools and equipment needed for the job.
- Responsible to coordinate efforts with both the Shop Foreman on the staging and loading of all trucks with quoted materials, tools and equipment in a well-thought-out and efficient manner.
- Communicate on a consistent basis with the Crew that all paperwork is done completely and accurately and given to all parties.
- Have a clear understanding of the materials budgeted for tracking.
- Assesses conditions of the job once on-site, plans time allotment, tools needed and order of work determining workload for crew.
- Adjusts for conditions, makes changes from original job order as necessary, troubleshoots situations, innovates process on the spot to complete the job meeting company standards and timetables.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree equivalent (GED)
Experience:
- One-year related fencing or construction trades experience preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
Basic Skills:
- Ability to add, subtract and divide all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent
- Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and working knowledge Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Work, and Outlook required
Physical Requirements:
- Vision-Must be able to read reports, data and statistics on computer screen (75-100%)
- Hearing-Must be able to hear and communicate on telephone and in person (75-100%)
- Standing/Walking (75-100%)
- Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling (75-100%)
- Must be able to lift up 100lbs of force occasionally up to 80lbs of force frequently, and up to 20lbs of force consistently to move objects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 43 per week
