POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Junior Technical Project Coordinator will be responsible for applying global standards and integrating them into AV solutions. This position is a junior level role that will collaborate with the Program Manager and Design Manager on multiple technology sectors to deploy world class AV solutions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Gather information for room designs such as floor plans & pictures, HVAC levels, flooring types, ceiling & wall materials, existing reusable equipment, and de-commissionable equipment.
Track project progression of multiple projects.
Coordinate with vendors to create and deliver systems on schedule.
Help identify acoustical, audio, video, and network concerns.
Monitor and report on design changes and scope changes.
Assist in preparation of installation packages.
Evaluate vendor proposals and review for accuracy.
Ensure that the MSL IT AV Design and Technologies guidelines are continually maintained as a project evolves.
Attend on-going project meetings to ensure that MSL standards are maintained.
Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant industry hardware as well as manufacturer and client tools.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Ability to be self-motivated and accountable in a fast-pace, independent environment.
Ability to think creatively as well as methodically regarding technical issues.
Knowledge of Cisco, Crestron, Extron, Shure, Biamp, as well as other AV/VC related hardware and signal flow.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to client culture.
Ability to work both independently as well as with a team.
Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting large/heavy objects and physical integration/maintenance work on AV systems.
