This entry level position answers directly to the PMO Manager and is situated in the Tarsco Bolted Tank Tulsa, office location. This position requires a proactive individual with an excellent work ethic looking to learn and become a positive team member to manage our contracts with the utmost efficiency. This position requires experience with MS Office. Again, this is an entry level position for any candidates that are looking to start a career in project management.
This position will support our project management team by performing duties which include, however will not be limited to, the following:
- Keep a daily hand-written, dated logbook to record significant daily evens, directives, and communications.
- Review and become familiar with new contracts awarded.
- Expedite submittals from our customers.
- Assist as required in the creation of change orders.
- Submit requisitions for the procurement of long delivery specialty items.
- Expedite erection start dates from Customers.
- Expedite “site ready” foundation orientations and pictures prior to mobilization.
- Expedite “hydro test” dates to be performed prior to the 30-day period running out from the date of mechanical completion.
- Confirm with finance that we have valid state construction licenses in place upon award of contract prior to our construction team mobilizing to site.
- Assist PMs with the review of daily reports being issued to the field. Ensure that we have a daily report for each day we are working on each site.
- Attend any meetings as directed.
- Become familiar with our P6 scheduling review process.
Perform administrative support duties as required.
