(Contingent upon available funding): 45,000.00 - 45,000.00, Salary Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (8am-5pm) Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: The Project Coordinator (PC) is responsible for the management and implementation of a funded project. The PC will serve as the lead role for the grant’s daily operations, such as Outreach and students’ recruitment, Faculty recruitment, or other roles. The PC will oversee and contribute to students and Faculty activities therefore should have a basic understanding of students’ projects related to precision agriculture, embedded systems, sensor network, and IoT (INTERNET OF THINGS) skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all the project participants.
Recruit and manage students and team members by providing appropriate direction and ongoing feedback, delegating tasks, prioritizing work, and conducting performance reviews.
Participate in monthly project calls, taking notes/minutes and tracking action items.
Lead weekly grant project meetings and provide updates on grant project status, next steps, and recommendations.
Assist in the development of spreadsheets to track grant’s funds, monitor all grant materials, and request changes to ensure that they strictly adhere to funder requirements.
Coordinate the communications schedule and set up project meetings.
Attend webinars and training courses and report findings back to the team.
Keep the team up to date on project progress and report any delays promptly.
Ensure that all application documents are uploaded and filed on SharePoint upon completion.

Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Agriculture Science, or related field and above.
Experience in and/or knowledge and/or Interest in Precision agriculture, embed system, sensor networks, and IoT experience preferred
Prior experience in a Project Coordinator role or team player position, utilizing project management tools and methods for planning and implementation.
