Job Title:Project Coordinator
Shift: First, estimated to average 40 to 45 hours per week
Location: 3250 Ruckriegel Parkway, Louisville, KY, 40299 (onsite Monday through Friday preferred - hybrid schedule may be an option for well qualified candidates)
As a Project Coordinator working within Strategic Communication’s Project Management Office, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of projects within our audiovisual and low voltage division. This position reports to the PMO Director and requires close collaboration with project managers, cross-functional A/V Operations & Administrative support teams, and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will be a highly-organized and adaptable big picture thinker with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Projects will vary in size, scope, and duration.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist project managers in the development and maintenance of documentation repositories, project plans, schedules, and timelines.
- Coordinate internal / external kickoff meetings ensuring mutual alignment among project stakeholders.
- Working in conjunction with Service & Warehouse Managers, support resource allocation and inventory tracking processes to ensure optimal use of project resources.
- Support the creation of a subcontractor database by assisting with the search and qualification of subcontractors in assigned geographic regions to service Strategic's installation and service contracts.
- Assist in risk management activities, identifying and addressing potential project risks.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure tasks are assigned, understood, and completed on schedule.
- Contribute to the preparation and distribution of regular project status reports.
- Foster a positive team environment and assist in resolving project-related challenges.
- Provide administrative support to project managers and the project management office.
- Collaborate and follow-up with internal Procurement, Logistics, and Accounting teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Direct management of a small portfolio of projects (as-needed) may be required.
Qualifications Required:
- 3+ years of project coordination/scheduling experience preferred in a multi-contractor/customer environment.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, may offset with equivalent experience.
- Formal project management experience desirable, must be willing to obtain certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM)
- Strong interest in professional development and a willingness to grow project management skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
- Prior experience in AV, IT, or similar technical field is desirable.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (MS Excel, MS Project, MS Teams) is desirable.

Work Environment
Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 20% of the time. The work environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are reasonable. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
