Gardner Health Services is currently recruiting to fill aProgram Supervisorposition. This is a full-time position in the Family Enrichment Program (FEP) in the Family & Children Division of the Specialty Behavioral Health Department based out of the Gardner Health Services Corporate Office located at 160 E Virginia Street, San Jose, CA 95112. Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Program Supervisor will provide overall program leadership, direction, and accountability for quality services delivered within the program. The duties of the Program Supervisor will include supervision of the implementation of quality, comprehensive, individualized, strength-based, client centered and intensive culturally competent all-inclusive approach in the home and community working with 0-6 children and their families. In addition, the Program Supervisor will be in charge of staff caseloads, quality assurance for employees to maintain the fidelity of program standard, company’s QI regulations as well coordination of the referral process.

The Family Enrichment Program is a First 5 funded program to strengthen families with young children (ages 0-6) through education, mental health services, support and advocacy. The program provides child development resources and strengthens attachment between caregivers and children.

Minimum Qualifications:

The minimum qualifications of this position is listed below. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
  • Current and valid license issued by the State of California as Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, preferred.
  • At least two years post licensure experience to be able to provide direct service to clients and quality clinical supervision to program staff, preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of Department of Behavioral Health, FIRST 5, and Kids Connection Systems of Care.
  • Prior experience and proven success in program design and implementation.
  • Ability to assess and coordinate the treatment needs for complex family systems involved in the welfare/foster care systems.
  • Ability to inspire, encourage and supervise clinical staff with reflective practice methods.
  • Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with referral sources, foster parents, clients, community partners, stakeholders and coworkers at an individual and committee level.
  • Must be committed to quality performance and service excellence.
  • Must be able to communicate directly with our clients’ families so Spanish speaking is STRONGLY preferred.

Compensation:

Compensation and level of position placement will be determined based on relevant experience and education.

Program Supervisor: $90,000 - $110,000/Annually
