Program Specialist

Job Description:

• Under the direction of the Director of the Office of Strategic Operations, provides strategic support on departmental projects and priorities. Duties may include but are not limited to:
• Review, score, and provide written comments on applications for project funding
• Revises project applications following scoring panel discussions.
• Maintains Status Reports of various projects reviewed which includes updating approved participating stakeholders in a database for tracking.
• Provides virtual and/or on-site technical assistance to stakeholders on active/approved projects.
• Advises director/team leads/stakeholders on program updates, and due dates, and sends general correspondence as needed.
• Works closely with the director to communicate the status of open projects by
• providing weekly reports; updates on assigned projects, and outstanding issues, and/or makes recommendations as needed for project planning.
• Performs other related work as required.

• The person(s) should be a self-starter, organized, ability to multitask, ability prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, foster clear and effective communication, work remotely with limited supervision.

Work hours:

• Work hour: 20 hours/ week

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• program support: 1 year (Required)
• Program coordination: 1 year (Required)
• Funding: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Trenton, NJ 08620: Relocate before starting work (Required)
