Job Summary
The Mission Command Battle Lab (MCBL) is the U.S. Army Futures Command’s (AFC) premier lab for experimentation on the Command and Control (C2) Warfighting Function (WfF), Echelons Above Brigade (EAB) and the integration of all WfFs. MCBL investigates emerging concepts and technologies, and explores the deep future through experimentation, studies, and prototyping to inform C2 capability development and EAB modernization efforts. MCBL proposes solutions within the Science and Technology (S&T) community, the generating force, and operational force.
BMA is seeking a Program Manager to support the MCBL in its mission to conduct experimentation, studies, and prototyping that inform C2 capability development and EAB modernization efforts support of Mission Command Capability Development and Integration Directorate (CDID) and the Futures and Concept Center’s (FCC) experimentation plan.
Clearance Requirements
There is a Secret clearance requirement for this position.
Required Skills & Certifications
MA or MS degree in a relevant area from an accredited university.
Military Educational Level (MEL) IV, Command and General Staff College, or equivalent.
15 years’ experience in Army and or USMC operations.
5 years demonstrated experience as a team leader or Program Manager in support of Army or Joint requirements.
Experienced Army and or USMC operator with field-grade level knowledge and experience in Army, joint, and coalition operations at the division or higher echelon.
Demonstrated planning experience for complex activities equivalent to that of an annual experimentation program and major experiment or experiment series such as events that are comprised of multiple events such as workshops leading to a Simulation Experiment.
Familiarity with Army/Joint Capability Development.
Desired Skills & Certifications
Graduate from the Army War College or National Defense University.
Previous service within joint and/or combined organizations.
Experience as a division/corps/theater army/joint headquarters planner, strategist, or member of a Commanders Initiative Group (CIG).
Experience with analysis, studies, experimentation, and prototyping.
