Position OverviewThe Personal Training
Program Manager is responsible for the daily operations of Personal Training program and administration of various personal training events. Job DescriptionDuties include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the program director in programming and administration of the personal training and fitness assessment program.
- Assisting with ACE Personal Training course.
- Enforcing policies and procedures.
- Assisting with reviewing client forms and assign clients to Personal Trainers.
- Ensuring client records are current.
- Communicating between Personal Trainers and program director.
- Communicating with clients including checking email account.
- Implementing payroll procedures.
- Coordinate staff meetings and staff trainings.
- Planning special events.
- Developing new program ideas.
- General program troubleshooting.
- Hiring new Personal Trainers.
- Implementing risk management when necessary.
Promptly alerting Assistant Director with any concerns or questions.Required QualificationsEnrollment at KU in at least 6 hours for the University of Kansas.
Possesses current CPR/AED certification, or willing to obtain within 4 weeks of employment.Preferred QualificationsCurrently possesses and maintains a NCCA accredited personal training certification such as ACE, NSCA, NASM, ACSM, etc.
Previous experience in personal training at ASRFC or currently employed at ASRFC.Knowledge of exercise and how to use strength and cardio equipment.Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health or related major.Additional Candidate InstructionsComplete application includes: Online application, cover letter and resume.
