Job Description
The candidate will be the Alternate Program Manager leading a team of senior military analysts in support of the Army’s Mission Command Battle Lab (MCBL) The MCBL conducts experimentation, studies, and prototyping that inform Command and Control capability development and modernization efforts.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Support the Program Manager in leading and managing a large team of senior military analysts.
- Act as Program Manager is his or her absence.
- Responsible for supporting all aspects of contract deliverables.
- Responsible for interfacing with and briefing Government personnel
- Oversee all program processes.
- Assist in developing monthly status reports.
- Coordinate cross-functional meetings of personnel related to project.
- Assist in developing and presenting In-Progress Reviews
- Demonstrated experience with an Army experimentation program and major experiment or experiment series such as events that are comprised of multiple events such as workshops leading to a Simulation Experiment.
- Graduate of a military service school equivalent to the Army Command and General Staff College (Military Education Level-4)
- 10+ years of military experience at the field-grade level; knowledge of Army, Joint, and Coalition operations at the division or higher echelon.
- 5 years of demonstrated experience as a team leader or Program Manager in support of Army or Joint requirements.
- Solid working knowledge of Army and Joint Doctrine
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills and familiar with the Army Writing Style
- Demonstrated experience maintaining timelines and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to hold a Secret level security clearance.
- BA/BS from accredited university in related disciplines
- Possess clear and precise oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Submit to required background checks.
- Able to meet requirements to work on a military installation, including having a valid state driver's license and car insurance.
- Be self-motivated with ability to establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete multiple tasks within specified timeframes.
- Be completely functional in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Be able to travel as required.
- Master’s Degree
- War College Graduate (Military Education Level-1)
- Previous Battle Lab Experience
