Program Manager, Strategic Sourcing

As a cornerstone of our success, the chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in driving supply chain improvements across the enterprise, utilizing lean principles and world-class sourcing processes.

Position Overview: Reporting to the Director, Strategic Sourcing, the Program Manager will spearhead cross-enterprise supply chain initiatives and sourcing events. This influential role involves collaborating with teams across the organization, leading supply chain shared services, and implementing continuous improvement tools to optimize our supply chain operations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop, and implement innovative sourcing strategies and cost improvement opportunities for both indirect and direct commodities.
• Take ownership of the entire sourcing process, ensuring execution of savings initiatives that consistently meet or exceed targets.
• Lead the planning and execution of cross-enterprise sourcing initiatives and events to enhance overall supply chain efficiency and sourcing performance.
• Lead shared services for select supply chain programs, maintaining strong business relationships, negotiating terms, and resolving issues with providers.
• Project manage strategic initiatives, demonstrating organizational prowess, effective planning, and seamless execution.
• Provide comprehensive data analytics to report project status, progress, and key performance indicators.
• Lead other related supply chain initiatives as assigned.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement, and sourcing.
• Demonstrated experience in all facets of the Strategic Sourcing process, including category strategy development, RFQ processes, negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing lean principles and process improvement activities with diverse teams.
• Strong financial and analytical acumen.
• Strong leadership skills to build high-performing cross-enterprise teams and influence effectively.
• Outstanding communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% nationally and/or internationally.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• MBA or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• CPSM or similar professional sourcing/supply chain certification.
• Experience in developing, codifying, and deploying lean tools and principles in a multi-Business Unit environment.
