Job Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of one, or more, complex programs that may consist of multiple projects. Execution includes program/project strategies, supporting business cases, project plans, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), reporting, financial control, application and interface planning and development, implementation planning, installation, application training and education, project management; and quality service and support, and appropriate project documents required by the IT Project Management Office. Is responsible for implementation evaluation and analysis, budgeting, resource allocation, management of existing systems, and strategic planning for new projects.Pay Range
Minimum $111,114 Midpoint $147,202 Maximum $183,331Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
- Required: Minimum five (5) years of hands-on, complex project/program management experience. Experienced with management of multiple programs. Previous healthcare experience is required.
- Preferred: Ten (10) years of hands-on, complex project / program management experience.
Education
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Comparable work experience may be considered in lieu of education.

- Required: Proficient with MS Project, Visio and MS Office suite of tools. Highly self-sufficient and able to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to mentor CHOC associates on project management tools and techniques; Leads by example and promotes teamwork to achieve CHOC's mission. Understands and strives to exceed customer expectations. Ability to provide management, leadership and oversight for programs and projects. Ability to communicate effectively with leadership and senior management. Ability to develop and deliver key documents. Effectiveness skills, such as time management and setting and achieving goals. Licensure
- Required: Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential or Program Management Professional (PgMP)® credential
