Manufacturing Design Program Manager (Mdpm)

The MDPM manages innovation within the Manufacturing Design team by challenging the technical team to implement new processes while maintaining timely readiness for mass production. The MDPM is relationship focused, engaging with a talented engineering team, the executive leadership team, and an international supply chain. Key responsibilities include: Create process development schedules indicating critical path and key decision milestones Facilitate communication and cross functional alignment within the Manufacturing Design organization and with other Apple teams Drive suppliers, integrate their deliverables and schedules into the overall project Utilize a multi-functional team of engineers to meet overall program objectives Lead meetings and document action items and progress. Identify and prioritize project tasks and risks Hold team members accountable for meeting schedule commitments Drive issue resolution and risk management in order to meet timeline Coordinate weekly exec level presentations, crafting the message and prioritizing the open items
