Program Assistant

• Provide administrative support to the Senior Policy, Budget, & Audit Advisor in GH/P3 (and on a larger scale, the Global Health Policy Working Group (PWG)), which is developing a USAID Global Health Development Policy. This could include - but is not limited to - the following tasks:
• Tracking of deliverables in the policy development process;
• Routing documents through the necessary channels, with guidance from the Senior Advisor;
• Uploading documents to any shared drives, such as Google Drive;
• Taking notes for meetings or focus group discussions, and providing high quality summaries to all stakeholders involved;
• Tracking planned dates in the process against actual dates; and
• Organizing meetings for the Senior Advisor and other PWG members to address questions/concerns.
• Supporting the Senior advisor in planning and facilitating a mini-retreat for the PWG (travel for two day in person event in DC)

Requirements:

• Excellent Google drive and application skills, including in Google Sheets
• Strong writing/editing skills
• Meticulous organization skills.
• Notetaking abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize, and work independently
• Basic knowledge of USAID and GH.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication style.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
