POSITION OVERVIEW:
Green Circle Growers, a greenhouse operation in Oberlin, Ohio, is hiring an E-Commerce Account ManagerRetail Sales to support the rapidly growing Amazon, Walmart, and other Omni-Channel eCommerce business. This position is responsible for maximizing sales volume and market share for our products sold online through both third-party vendors and owned platforms. The Manager will devise and execute strategy while managing a budget and interfacing with external customers and internal stakeholders.
JOB DUTIES:
- Manage relationship and ad spend strategy for Walmart and Amazon business.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Amazon and Walmart E-Commerce business model and strategies.
- Manage item catalogues on Amazon and other Omni-Channel partners web portals.
- Develop and expand business through influential relationships with key decision makers and executives at key Omni-Channel and related channel partners.
- Leverage syndicated data, competitive intelligence, and macro consumer trends to best position Green Circle products in the marketplace and to understand the effectiveness of promotions.
- Develop integrated demand generation strategies.
- Administrate corresponding spend & campaigns to drive sales in support of E-Commerce business objectives.
- Work with sales and marketing leaders to develop and deliver the company's long and short-term growth plans.
- Maintainsattention onkey performance indicator (KPI) reports to manage assigned accountsand sustain E-Commerce portfolio growth.
- Develop and execute customer-specific digital commerce strategies through deep understanding of how customer strategies align with GCG's goals and consumer insights.
- Work with Product Managers to bring to market insight-led products specific to GCG's online retail channels.
- Partner with marketing to manage, test, evaluate and optimize product detail on customer websites.
- Identify opportunities to improve digital commerce related supply chain, operations, or product packaging initiatives to support and grow key account relationships.
- Establish, measure, and optimize the cost of customer acquisition for our owned properties.
- Assist in the creation of monthly sales forecasts.
- Go live on other retail channel websites.
- Increase items on current sites.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS and education requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, Economics, or Marketing
- 5+ years of related experiencerequired;E-Commerce experience and/or preferred Greenhouseexperience.
- A flexible work schedule due to seasonality of business; To include some weekends.
- Ability to travel up to 10% + (domestic).
- Willingness to live and work from north central Ohio area.
- Knowledge of MS Navision ERP, Power BI, E-Commerce Retail Web Portals, and Salsify a plus.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Must be able to demonstrate intermediate (or better) knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Knowledge of promotion techniques, negotiation tactics, distribution channels, and good will
- Effective analytical/problem solving and research skills; effective communication skills for exchanging routine and non-routine information (verbally and in writing)
- Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Working knowledge of business intelligence reporting tools
