Data entry of billing and clinical forms received from Best Chance Network/Wisewoman (BCN/WISEWOMAN) providers, radiological and laboratory facilities. Performs daily resolution and processing of missing data request (MDRs) for Best Chance Network (BCN), ensuring provider information is complete and accurate so payments for providers can be processed in a timely manner. Contacts providers via telephone and/or email to obtain MDR information vital to BCN program meeting Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Clinical Core lndicators. Provides technical assistance to provider staff on various aspects of the program including policies, document completion, billing, and claims processing. MDR information must be obtained and entered into Med-lT within 20 business days to ensure program maintains 100% of resolution rate each fiscal year.
Assists with updating provider information in Med-lT for contract renewal processes. Maintains data quality in coordination with BCN staff. Participates in data entry training and cross-training, processes improvement initiatives, BCN staff meetings, data entry team meetings, and Cancer Division meetings. Provides back-up to the Prior Authorization (PA) Line as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
State Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.
Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
