Job Description
Summary:
- The Property/Casualty Agent will sell insurance to protect insured's home, autos, business properties against physical damage or liability judgements. This is a 1st shift position, hours are negotiable from part time to full time. This position will require you to hold a CSR, Sub or P & C license-- if you do not currently hold license, we will help you get the required license.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with prospective clients to determine insurance needs
- Educate on the variety of insurance products available, the types and benefits of each plan
- Collect information regarding the prospective property to be insured - including but not limited to, location, value, debts, vehicle information, driver information
- Create reasonable quotes using the information collected
- Maintains an open line of communication with all clients
Compensation/Pay:
- Varies depending on years of experience and licensing, please send salary requirements when completing application
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Excellent written/communication skills
- Excellent Sales and Customer service skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications:
- Applicable licensure to sell property and casualty insurance
- If you do not currently hold the license, we will help you get the required license.
