Form of workThe Professional Services Engineer - Enterprise will provide best-in-class AV control system programming and commissioning services to enterprise customers across the United States. Professional Services Engineer - Enterprise will focus on the success of enterprise account high impact meeting space deliverables frequently with an emphasis on 3rd party control interoperability and complex video conferencing requirements. They will be tasked with developing in-depth knowledge of the technical preferences, use cases, and pipeline of repeat customers and proactively develop and deliver proven Q-SYS software assets to partners around the globe. This AV programming and commissioning professional will work closely and collaboratively with executive-level clientele, Professional Services leadership, as well as with QSC's global application engineering and business development teams.
Remote position, up to 40% travel throughout the US.
Base Pay Range: $102,000 - $150,000

Responsibilities- Analyze the communication needs and collaboration requirements of enterprise clients and propose Q-SYS software solutions that meet their expectations and goals.
- Design, develop, and test comprehensive Q-SYS Designer Software files that possess exemplary readable, maintainable, and scalable qualities.
- Deploy and commission custom software with flexible and adaptive mindset, capable of taking direction in time crunch situations.
- Build relationships with Enterprise Account stakeholders and Q-SYS integration partners constantly ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Contribute and develop workflow best practices including estimation, archiving, documentation, and distribution of custom intellectual property for clientele with global needs.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred
- AV and IT industry certifications appreciated
- Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience developing control modules and automation in the commercial AV industry
- Experience with programming languages including LUA, CSS, HTML5, and JavaScript
- Experience improving technology interactions for end-user customers based on analysis of customer needs and vetted use cases
- Experience with computer networking a plus
- Ability to present organized concise essential information to internal senior management and external executive clientele.
- Can effectively manage heavy workload independently with ability to delegate to external resources as needed
- Passion for user experience
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot computer networking a plus
