Upscale Pet Grooming Salon, Spa & Boutique is seeking a Professional Pet Bather part-time, potentially leading into full-time.

As a Professional Pet Bather, you must represent the company’s values and provide the highest level of care. Expectations include a warm and professional experience for the pet clients and their parents.
Requirements:
- Strong background in professional customer service-themed roles - Retail Sales or Pet Care Services
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Works well under pressure, dealing with many arrivals and departures occurring at the same time
- Love for animals and a strong desire to take care of animals and their owners
- Confidence around all breeds of pets
- Attention to details
- Must be computer savvy
- Ability to stand for an entire shift as well as walk, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs
Job Details:
- Will complete baths, brushing, ear cleaning, nail trims, de-shed treatments, mud treatments, body massage, and any other additional services you are qualified to perform
- Greeting clients for arrivals, departures, and purchases of products
- Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
- Sales and education of products sold in our boutique
- Cleaning of all areas of the salon and boutique
- Uphold a high level of sanitation and humane, safe practices always
- Laundry - wash, dry, and fold
- Stocking shelves - rotating inventory and verifying expiration dates
- Providing backup to grooming staff when needed with difficult and elderly pets
- Administrative filing and record keeping/documentation
- Entering and verifying pets' veterinarian documents into the system
- Upsales of spa packages when scheduling
- Continued training to advance job skills
- Work as a team player, assisting manager/owner in all aspects of the business as needed

You are the definition of customer service! You initiate conversation with all who enter our establishment and market and educate them about our products. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 30 per week
