Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor. This position is based at our Roxboro, NC facility.
The Production Supervisor is responsible to lead a team of Machine and Maintenance Technicians to meet the safety, quality, and production goals of the facility. This role will also organize, plan, and monitor all processes within operations and develop goals and direction to help the plant meet cost savings, scrap reduction, throughput improvement, and new product introduction.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $77249.97 - $113299.96 a year.

What you'll do:
• Plans and directs production/maintenance activities and establishes priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
• Coordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
• Plan schedule and coordinate all proactive maintenance.
• Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operating or production problems.
• Reviews and analyzes maintenance metrics and operational reports to determine causes of equipment failure and reliability.
• Revise production schedules and priorities as result of equipment failure or operating problems.
• Consults with engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products.
• Support root cause analysis of unexpected equipment downtime in order to drive continuous improvement in proactive maintenance program.
• Compiles, stores, and retrieves production and maintenance data.
• Establishes and plans manpower requirements to ensure 100% on time delivery.
• Assigns and monitors new employee onboardings and current employee trainings.
• Initiates and maintains plant requirements to all mandatory environmental and safety regulations.
• Ensures compliance with safety and housekeeping practices, company policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in lean/5S/continuous improvement activities related to the facility as needed.
• Directs entire manufacturing process of assigned areas on the shift and coordinates with off shift supervisors.
• Counsels and evaluates employee performance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of High School Diploma/GED equivalent from an accredited institution
• Minimum of five (5) years of manufacturing and/or production experience
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in a Group Lead/Team Lead role and/or Manager of People role
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Roxboro, NC will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
• Experience in the Automotive industry
• Experience with maintenance industry or working with maintenance teams
Skills
• Leading and educating production/maintenance teams and employees throughout a facility to deal with frequent changes, delays, and unexpected issues to meet customer demands
• Experience leading a team
