What you can look forward to as Production Superintendent
- Ensure a safe work environment is provided and employees are complying with all EHS policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance to ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IATF 16949.
- Plan resources necessary for optimal operating efficiency to ensure safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals are met.
- Train and develop supervisors with providing effective leadership to the team.
- Lead the engineering team to ensure equipment is upgraded and modified to maximize operational capacity, as well as work area documents are up to date.
- Promote continuous improvement and Lean activities and lead the implementation of actions.
- Support new launches within the manufacturing facility.
- Communicate effectively with customers (internal and external), cross functional teams, and members at all levels of the organization.
Your profile as Production Superintendent
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience.
- 8-10 years related experience in manufacturing environment.
- Advanced knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing/operations.
- Dynamic, driven, and energetic team player who works well under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and task management skills.
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office.
- Experience within manufacturing, automotive industry preferred.
- Project Management experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of Six Sigma/ Lean principles (preferred).
- Ensure area leadership supports ISO 14001 (Environmental Certification) and ISO 45001 (Safety and Health Certification) initiatives.
- Ensure assigned area conforms to IATF 16949 quality management standards and participate in audits.
