```Job Summary```
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Scheduler to join our team. The Production Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and planning production schedules to ensure timely and efficient completion of orders. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, relate with a wide group of staff, and keen attention to detail.
Primary Function
Manages Production Scheduling activities in the organization. Designs and implements the production schedule plan in conjunction with all aspects of production, including material availability, timeliness, and effectiveness.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitoring material inventories, tracking the progress of production activities, and reviewing the factors that affect production schedules; communicating the above to relevant internal staff.
- Using available tools; MRP, Forecasts, and Backlog reports; making recommendations regarding schedule changes as necessary
- Ensuring that project/ department milestones/ goals are met as assigned by the VP of Manufacturing.
- Responsible for inventory levels of all items on the production floor; including supplies, production materials, etc.
- Supporting the VP of Manufacturing on all aspects related to scheduling, planning, and other areas needed.
- May perform other work-related duties as requested, directed, or assigned by management.
Working Relationships
- Able to effectively communicate with Production Technicians and Managers throughout the company regarding Production Scheduling and to ensure timelines and schedules are met.
Education and Experience
- Requires 1-3 years of experience in a related area as an individual contributor
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
- Able to make recommendations for staffing to meet the day-to-day production goals.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the organization.
- Able to perform a variety of complex tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to read, understand, and follow written instructions for production processes and assembly is required.
- The ability to interface and communicate effectively and professionally with management and co-workers is essential. Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment.
- Willing to work overtime as required.
- Proficient in PC-based productivity applications, specifically, MS-Office.
- Must be safety conscious.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and adhere to safety requirements, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
