Sr Network Systems Engineer

Summary: Senior Network Systems Engineer with extensive experience in Cisco data center and campus networking required for a new project to architect, implement, and manage network infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of network engineering experience.

• Proficiency with Cisco data center and campus networking, Cisco firewall operations (advanced features), SD-WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and VoIP networks.

• Advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, DNS, DHCP, NAC, AD.

• Skilled in remote access service management and troubleshooting network devices including switches and firewalls.

• Demonstrated ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with structured data center cabling and wire management.

• Familiarity with network analyzers and Netflow tools.

• Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCDP or Wireless certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Designing new topologies to upgrade existing Network on LAN/WAN/WLAN and remote access segments.

• Managing rack and cabinet equipment layout for data centers and telecommunication rooms.

• Resolving daily operational network issues effectively while communicating solutions to the team and management.

• Establishing strong relationships within the business and IT departments.

• Participating in an on-call rotation schedule for after-hours support.

• Planning and executing after-hours network interventions as necessary.

• Developing disaster recovery protocols to maintain consistent uptime.

• Consulting with vendors for troubleshooting IT services or proposing new solutions.

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $40.00 to $47.00 per hour
