Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate production schedules for glass tempering to meet customer demand and optimize resources
- Train, and manage production staff to operate machines and ensure adherence to production procedures and safety protocols
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and supplies to maintain adequate stock levels
- Monitor glass tempering processes, identifying opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Be able to troubleshoot issues in the production line and create solutions to help the team run efficiently
- Ensure that the maintenance and preventive maintenance of the equipment are handled on schedule and budget
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that tempered glass products meet specifications and customer requirements
- Develop and implement new procedures to increase productivity and help scale the company
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds unassisted and up to 150 pounds with assistance.
- Proficient in reading a tape measure, ruler, gauge, etc.
- Capacity to stand for long periods.
- Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with regional climate conditions in a non-climate controlled facility.
- Must be 21 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Glass experience is strongly preferred
- Production experience is strongly preferred
Benefits:
· Competitive Pay: $120,000 to $150,000/year including an estimate of profit sharing based on experience level. Ranges before profit sharing, which is not guaranteed, are $80,000 to $100,000
Profit Sharing Plan: Company pays 20% of profits to employees
