JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Lead to join our dynamic team in the Automobile Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and managing production teams, ensuring the efficient and timely production of high-quality automotive products. The Production Lead will play a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Team Leadership
Supervise and lead a team of production staff to achieve production targets and quality standards.
Provide guidance, support, and training to team members for skill development and performance enhancement.
Production Planning and Scheduling
Collaborate with the production planning team to develop and execute production schedules that meet customer demands.
Monitor and adjust production schedules to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Quality Control
Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure the production of high-quality automotive products.
Conduct regular inspections and address any deviations from quality standards promptly.
Safety Compliance
Uphold and enforce safety regulations and protocols to create a secure working environment.
Investigate and report any safety incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Initiate and lead projects to optimize production processes and enhance overall operational performance.
Communication and Collaboration
Foster effective communication within the production team and collaborate with other departments to streamline operations.
Address and resolve any production-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school graduate and bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required
Spanish-English bilingual is preferred, but not required
Experience in a Production Lead or Supervisor position in the Automobile Manufacturing industry
In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a production team
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing production challenges
Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and safety standards
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without any restriction
Okay to work 100% onsite in Greer
