We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Lead to join our team at our facility in Jeffersonville, IN, 47111. As a Production Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent mechanical troubleshooting skills, exceptional communication abilities, experience in a manufacturing environment, and basic computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of production workers to meet production goals and quality standards
- Monitor and maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production schedules and resolve any production-related issues
- Train new employees on production processes and safety procedures
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Track and report production metrics to management
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
