Lifetime Creations is an ecommerce retailer for personalized gifts - you can find us on Amazon, Etsy, and lifetimecreations.net. We laser engrave, embroider, and sublimate gifts at our warehouse in Merrillville, IN for weddings, holidays, and other special occasions.

Role
We’re growing and extending our operational hours! This person will oversee our production and fulfillment teammates during select afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts. They’ll play a critical role in the final gifts our customers receive.

Hours
- Part-time, hourly position
- In general, average 20-25 hours per week during afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- For the first 30 days only, training will take place Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am - 4 pm. Following training completion, hours will be during afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- There will be opportunities for additional hours during peak shopping seasons
Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate 1-2 laser engraving machines - no experience necessary (50% of time)
- Create shipping labels through web-based program Shipstation, and determine the most cost effective shipping methods (20%)
- Have a strong leadership presence on floor with Production Team, ensuring high volume of customer orders are shipped accurately and on-time with; organize and communicate work prioritization; delegate as needed to ensure production flow runs smoothly and at maximum capacity (20%)
- Create individual production files using Adobe Illustrator file templates with each customer’s personalization instructions; as needed - no experience necessary (5%)
- Perform quality control and inspect products prior to and post decoration; ensure high quality standards and company guidelines are met (5%)
- Radiate energy, build connections with, and engage with your team with a positive attitude; cultivate a culture of success with a “can-do attitude” when it comes to overcoming challenges
- Monitor equipment and report any quality or equipment issues; perform maintenance as needed
- Assist with team member evaluations and training
- Maintain warehouse and workspaces daily; keep materials organized and spaces orderly and clean
- Demonstrate flexibility and commitment through cross training; help other production or order fulfillment-related duties as needed

Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience leading a team
- Prior experience with laser engraving is a plus, but not required. You’ll be trained.
- Prior experience using shipping software like Shipstation is a plus, but not required. You’ll be trained.
- Comfortable learning new skills
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to twist, squat, kneel, bend on a regular basis
Requirements (non-negotiable and must be verifiable)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Provide at minimum 3 professional references upon request
- Must be able to meet physical requirements of the job provided reasonable accommodations
